Ajay Phansekar's Multiple Projects:

Director Ajay Phansekar's YEHI HAI ZINDAGI, starring Parvin Dabas, Gracy Singh and Saahil Khan, is 60 per cent complete and Phansekar is happy the way things have taken shape thus far. We are rushing ahead to complete the Mumbai portions by the end of this month as we have made necessary arrangements for a long outdoor schedule in Bangkok, followed by a schedule in Cape Town. Somehow, we have got to release the film by November, says Phansekar, whose last outing in the cinemas ENCOUNTER - THE KILLING was much acclaimed. Revolving around an Indian classical dancer's confrontation with the underworld elements, YEHI HAI ZINDAGI is currently being shot at Film City. Phansekar explains, I am working at a breakneck speed because by December, I am starting my next project with Naseeruddin Shah. It is called INFORMER and deals with the life of police informers. Then I am also supposed to direct two more films, one of which is being produced by myself, whereas the other one will be produced by Hari Singh, actress Aishwarya Rai's secretary. The latter is essentially meant for launching Bhoomika, Hari Singh's daughter. It will also have Aishwarya Rai acting in it. But both these films will start only by next year, says Phansekar.
