Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to unveil first look of Jazbaa at Cannes

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been associated with Cannes for over a decade, hence it doesn't come as a surprise that the actress' appearance this year will be special considering that she is also making a comeback in films. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who will be seen as the protagonist in the upcoming Sanjay Gupta directorial Jazbaa, will use Cannes as a platform to unveil the first look of this film.

The first look of Jazbaa will be launched in a closed door discussion with United Nations panel on May 16, after which, there will be a media event scheduled on May 19. The said panel includes a list of some elite celebrities which includes actress Salma Hayek, Adele Exarchopoulos along with the producers of the film Carol, that is, Christine Vachone and Elizabeth Kushel.

 

The trailer will be launched at the event amidst the presence of producer Essel Vision's business head Akash Chawla and director-co-producer Sanjay Gupta. Excited about this, Akash further added that the film unlike any other 'solo hero' film has Aishwarya, Irrfan Khan and Shabana Azmi occupying a prominent presence.

 

Jazbaa also starring Chandan Roy Sanyal, Anupam Kher and it is slated to release on October 9, 2015.
