2.5 Good

This album is just full of punjabi catch phrases, bhangra beats, and worst of all, lyrics that are trying to make a joke.

If I want to hear a funny song, I'm going to go to YouTube and listen to them there - people post some really hilarious things.

Gym Shim and Bhangra Bistar are just so cheesy are try too hard to make you laugh. I do not consider them "songs" in any way.

Hadippa or rather the remix of Hadippa is the only catchy song which people would be hearing more than once. Yeah its just another punjabi bhangra number and the remix is just another dance number --> but nevertheless, it is catchy with fun lyrics and it shows potential. The music video only enhances its charm.

Discowaale Khisko is an okay punjabi track. Because of its punch line, this might run for a couple of days, but really there is nothing special about it.

Ishq Hi Hai Rab --> As the only song that does not contain nonsensical lyrics, it is at a slightly lower tempo than the rest of the album, and Sonu Nigam's voice, this song stands out from the rest of the album. I would say this song has the potential to grow on you, but alas its still a punjabi song and so the person asks, how is this much different from what I have heard in the past romantic punjabi songs.

Let me clarify: I have nothing against punjabi songs. But when you have a whole album filled with them, they all seem to blend in together as one really long song and it bores you.

In short I am disappointed with Dil Bole Hadippa!
