Known for his relatable charm and unconventional film choices, Ayushmann posted a heartwarming video featuring himself and brother Aparshakti Khurana dancing to the original 90s track. The actor revealed that the song had been a memorable part of his older days and family celebrations long before it became a part of his own film soundtrack. The recreated version of ‘Roop Di Rani’, which released on April 22, 2026, has been designed as a vibrant wedding anthem. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and sung by Guru Randhawa and Heer, the track carries a festive energy while paying tribute to the original hit. The music video showcases the lead cast dressed in colourful ethnic outfits, bringing back classic Bollywood celebration vibes with a modern twist.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh Do is backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series in association with BR Studios. The film is positioned as a spiritual sequel to the 2019 hit and promises a fresh dose of confusion, romance, and comedy.
This time, Ayushmann essays the role of Prajapati Pandey, who finds himself caught in a chaotic situation involving three women, played by Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Veteran actor Vijay Raaz also features in a key role.
