Zarina Wahab, who married Aditya Pancholi way back in 1986, made a shocking confession wherein she asserted that not only was she prepared about her husband having affairs but also reacted to the several accusations thrown towards him regarding his ‘abusive’ behavior. The actress, with a lot of candor, revealed that she was aware of his extra-marital affairs including the ones with Pooja Bedi and Kangana Ranaut.

In an interview with Lehren Retro, Zarina Wahab was seen opening up about her husband Aditya Pancholi aka Nirmal having extra-marital affairs as she said, “I was always aware of Nirmal (Aditya’s real name)’s affairs, but I never questioned him. I only cared about how he treated me when he was home. I ignored asking him questions because it would have made him fearless. I was completely prepared for him to have affairs.” For the unversed, Aditya Pancholi’s affair with Pooja Bedi flooded the tabloids way back in 1993, almost after seven years of his marriage with Wahab. However, the relationship ended when the actress filed a police complaint against Pancholi after her house-help accused him of sexual abuse.

Meanwhile, in a rare moment, Zarina also addressed the affair of Aditya Pancholi and Kangana Ranaut. Many would be aware that the latter went on to accuse him of physical abuse and later, he accused the actress of financial abuse. “I was always nice to Kangana. She often visited my home. He was very nice to her. I don’t know what went wrong. I just can tell that I saw what he couldn’t and eventually that happened,” she shared.

Despite the allegations, blame-games, controversies along with both actors having major public spats, Wahab insisted that her husband is a great husband and father. “He has never been an abusive husband. He is such a sweetheart. Ulta mai maar du use (For once, I might beat him). But he is very sweet. His girlfriends accused him of these things because they didn’t get what they wanted,” she added.
