The ambitious and one of the most big-budgeted Malayalam entertainers ARM aka Ajayante Randam Moshanam, released earlier this month on the auspicious occasion of Onam. However, latest reports suggest that the film has fallen victim to piracy, and it is being said that the entire film has leaked online and is being circulated on social media. Reacting to this bit of news, the film’s leading man Tovino Thomas and debutant director Jithin Lal have opened up about the incident.

Tovino Thomas addressed the piracy issue during a recent interaction with Asianet News where he hinted at theatre owners being a part of this conspiracy. He reasoned that the clarity of the leaked video is quite high and went on to insist that this wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the theatre staff. "The visuals in the leaked online version are shot without any shake. It is impossible to achieve such clarity without the knowledge of the theatre owners. Shooting the whole film inside a theatre with a handheld phone or camera, not using a tripod, is simply beyond human capacity,” he told. Suggesting that there is a group of people who have pulled off this scam together, Thomas added, "Have you seen someone shooting the film inside a theatre? I haven't seen."

Meanwhile, Jithin Laal shared a video of how a friend sent him a clip of someone viewing the film ARM on his phone during a flight journey. He took to Instagram to repost this clip, and also revealed that the leaked movie is doing the rounds on Telegram app. He captioned it saying, “A friend send me this .. heart breaking… vere onnum parayan ella (there is nothing left to say)… telegram vazhi ARM kanendavar kanatte (whoever gets to watch ARM via telegram let them watch)… alathe enth parayana (what else can we say)”.

Speaking of the film ARM aka Ajayante Randam Moshanam, it features Tovino Thomas in a triple role for the first time. Set in the historical era, the film stars Kriti Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi as leading ladies along with an ensemble supporting cast. The film released on September 12 in multiple languages including Hindi.
