Tovino Thomas, who is now fondly addressed as the Minnal Murali Hero by many, is gearing up to feature in one of his most ambitious film ARM in which he will have three different roles to play of namely, Maniyan, Kunjikkelu, and Ajayan. The pan-India fantasy film is set to release in theatres this month and as the makers gear up to release it amid extensive promotions, the trailer has not only added to the anticipation but it is also receiving a lot of praises not only from fans but also industry insiders.
For the unversed, the trailer for ARM hit the tube on August 25 and it seems it has grabbed the attention of KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel. Recently, the team met up with the blockbuster filmmaker, who also directed Salaar, wherein he couldn’t stop gushing about it. We hear that the director watched the trailer and praised the entire team, highlighting the stunning visuals, Tovino Thomas's three unique looks, and the film director's ambitious vision. This definitely has had a significant boost for the film and acted as a great encouragement for the team, revealed sources.
Also starring Krithi Shetty, Aishwarya Rajesh, and Surabhi Lakshmi as the female leads, the film boasts of an ensemble supporting cast that includes Basil Joseph, Jagadeesh, Harish Uthaman, Harish Peradi, Kabir Singh, Pramod Shetty, and Rohini who will be seen playing significant characters in this fantasy entertainer.
As for the music, Dibu Nainan Thomas of Kaan and Chithha fame, has composed the music with the screenplay written by Sujith Nambiar. Additional screenplay credits have also been given to Deepu Pradeep. Jomon T. John, who started in Malayalam cinema and has also worked in Bollywood, was the cinematographer whereas, the editing is done by Shameer Muhammed. The film stunts are coordinated by Vikram Moore and Phoenix Prabhu of Kantara fame.
Along with Justin Stephen as the co-producer and Naveen P. Thomas and Prince Paul as the executive producers, the film is directed by debutant Jitin Lal. Produced by Listin Stephen under the banners Magic Frames and UGM Motion Pictures, with Dr. Zakaria Thomas, ARM is being made entirely in 3D and stands as one of the highest-budget films in the history of Malayalam cinema. The film will be distributed by major industry players, with Hombale Films handling the Kannada release, Mythri Movie Distributors for Telugu, and Anil Thadani for Hindi, ensuring a grand release across multiple languages on September 12, marking the occasion of Onam.
