Acclaimed 26-year-old Dutch DJ/Producer Martin Garrix kickstarted his most expensive-ever India tour with two-sold out shows in Bengaluru. The two-time MTV EMA winner and four-time world's no. 1 DJ will be touring Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and New Delhi and Ahmedabad over the next few days.

In Bengaluru, audiences were in for a royal treat when Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar star Ranbir Kapoor took to the stage to perform alongside Garrix. The film star who is currently busy promoting his upcoming film was seen sharing a warm hug with Garrix as soon as he appeared on stage. The crowds went into a frenzy when the duo engaged in crowd control on the console as the track ‘Together’ played out and Kapoor was a complete sport indeed as he exhibited his electronic dance music aficionado persona.

Garrix was also seen folding his hands and thanking Ranbir on stage like a true humble superstar and also talked about how Kapoor had a new movie releasing that they were celebrating together! The highlight of the night was ofcourse was Kapoor getting Garrix to say "Mera Bharat Mahaan" in Hindi in a single take as he exited the stage. He shared the photos on Instagram and wrote, "Bangalore day 2… speechless.. what a special night & thank you to Ranbir Kapoor for joining me on stage!"

After a successful run in the region in the year 2018, this tour marks the World’s #1 DJ’s 6th visit to India with this Sunburn tour. Billed as one of the “largest arena showcases to be witnessed in India” this year, the itinerary includes eight shows across eight major metros over a span of two weekends, presented by Asia’s largest dance music festival, Sunburn.

Since hitting the music scene in 2012, the superstar DJ/Producer is most well-known for his hits Animals, In the Name Of Love, Summer Days and Scared To Be Lonely, and Indian audiences can expect a euphoric sold-out stadium performance.

Martin Garrix says, “India is one of my favourite countries to perform at and it’s good to finally return and party with all my fans. It was great to have Ranbir Kapoor join me on stage last night.”
