GOT7’s Mark Tuan is taking a much needed breather in new rustic music video for ‘Last Breath’ 7 : Bollywood News

Mark Tuan is back with heavenly music and we are here for it. The GOT7 member has made his much-awaited and anticipated return with the brand-new single ‘Last Breath’. The solo single was dropped with a rustic music video on November 12, 2021at 2pm KST.

Full of anguish ‘Last Breath’ talks about love turned sour-a parallel to his first single ‘One In A Million’. The song’s accompanying video features the singer-rapper taking a cross-country road trip alone in search of himself. The music video begins with Mark fighting his loneliness in various still and the lyrics going Back off a minute/ I need to be alone just to breathe while driving a car countryside. Though thelyrics are sad, the soft and healing vocals make sure to make the song comforting.

In the music video, Tuan stops at several locations for breathers, including a bar, gas station and a lake, before he wakes up in his own bathtub at the end of the song. The lyrics of the song looks quite relatable, when Mark goes “Usually don’t know how to handle these things/ but I am trying my best/ Can’t you tell?”

Mark’s style in the video is quite laidback but charismatic at the same time making it worth watching. “One last breath in me / I know you wanna take it away / You got your hands around my throat / So I only breathe when I’m alone,” he belts in the chorus. Towards the end, when Mark emerges out of water, it depicts how he pulled out of a dark phase of his life successfully. The music video has very beautiful and deep symbolic meaning to it. Apart from the visuals, his vocals are amazing!

‘Last Breath’ marks the GOT7 member’s first official solo release and third overall release this year. He collaborated with Korean R&B singer BIBI for Marvel’s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings soundtrack in September. The singer had previously released Chinese-language singles ‘Outta My Head’ and ‘Never Told You’ while promoting with GOT7. Tuan also teamed up with Bangladeshi-American artist Sanjoy on the track ‘One In A Million’ back in February 2021, which had marked his first official release as a soloist.

Mark Tuan signed with American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). He reportedly signed with CAA to expand his digital presence in the United States.
