Rani Mukerji sings national anthem with lady police officers : Bollywood News

Bollywood's queen bee Rani Mukerji, who plays the role of a dashing police officer in her upcoming film Mardani, will now be seen singing the national anthem with real life lady police officers. This anthem will be played from tomorrow in the theaters before the movie begins. While Rani will be seen wearing plain clothes (read 'civil'), the police personnels will be seen in their uniforms.

The surprise package of this song is that Rani's eight year niece Myiesha Mukerji (her brother Raja Mukerji's daughter) too features in the video. Reports have it that Myiesha, who was very excited about the whole thing, also got her friends to be a part of the video.

Pradeep Sarkar, who has directed the Mardani and the video, said that the whole shooting experience of the video was indeed very exciting. He added that while the national anthem itself gives goose bumps, added to that, seeing all the women sing together, it really makes everyone proud.
