Reportedly, superstar Rajinikanth’s son-in-law’s passport and money were stolen. The actor’s second daughter Soundarya and her husband Vishagan were on their way to London from Chennai when the latter realised that his passport and money was missing.
Reportedly, a few days back Vishagan and Soundarya had planned a trip together to London, and had booked tickets from Chennai to London in Emirates airlines. They had traveled on business class and reached London's Hebrew airport, and as Vishagan checked to take his passport out, he found it missing.
Vishagan lodged a complaint with the airport authorities after they realised that the briefcase that had his passport besides a lot of American dollars was missing. The couple was made to stay in a room in the airport. The Indian embassy was informed about the situation. When the authorities realised that the complainant was Rajinikanth's son-in-law, they immediately issued a duplicate passport. Currently, the authorities are investigating to find the person who stole the briefcase with passport and money.
Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya had recently got married to Vishagan, son of industrialist Vanangamudi, and also an actor known for playing the lead role in the crime thriller Vanjagar Ulagam. Vishagan has many businesses abroad and often travels to foreign countries.
