Karan Johar, being a talk-show host, has never shied away from putting forth his point of view regarding any topic. The outspoken director was recently asked if he thought the digital platforms were a boon or a bane. He put forth a few pros as well as cons.

According to him, the digital media is definitely slowing down the footfalls in cinemas, but he agreed that the filmmakers should take it as a challenge to constantly improve themselves. There are a lot of platforms these days that show a great quality of content. With the industry constantly growing and evolving, the digital expansion is surely giving the traditional cinema a good competition.

On the work front, KJo recently announced the release date of Good News starring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani. Along with it, the producer-director is working on his next multi-starrer mammoth project, Takht.
