Audience got to see a naughty-sweet romance of the couple Shahid Kapoor and his non-filmy wife Mira for the first time on national television during a recent chat show. As it helped us delve deeper into the camaraderie that this couple share in real life, Shahid who is equally in love with his daughter Misha, talks about fatherhood and the recent changes in his life.
In an interview to a leading daily, Shahid Kapoor confessed that the birth of a child definitely brings about a lot of change. Revealing that he is in a completely different zone emotionally and mentally, he feels that he has found a new perspective of seeing things. Though he maintained that it hasn’t affected much of his film choices which he still chooses according to the scripts, it has definitely changed him personally.
On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor stated that unlike other parents, his parents haven’t given him much advice and knowing the quirky side of his father Pankaj Kapoor, the veteran actor in Shahid’s words often looks at him with a smile that says ‘Ab tuje pata chalega’. However, even though the Haider actor had previously mentioned that he did not want to be like his father, Shahid added that now he tries to convince himself that he is not like his father but he is actually a lot like him. According to Shahid, even his wife Mira and his mother have often told him so.
Last seen in Udta Punjab, Shahid Kapoor is now gearing up for the release of Rangoon starring Kangna Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan. Besides this, the actor will play the role of Deepika Padukone’s husband in the epic drama Padmavati which also stars Ranveer Singh.
