After the massive success of Master, Tamil superstar Thalapathy Vijay and hitmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj are reuniting for the former’s 67th outing in the industry, titled Leo. The project started rolling in Chennai in December 2022, and a month ago, the first schedule of the film took place in Kashmir for a month. Recently, the director shared an update about the shooting as the Leo team wrapped up the Kashmir schedule. Along with the update, he also shared a BTS video while giving a shout-out.

In the video, the cast and crew of Leo can be seen working behind the scenes in a chilled 5 to 6 degrees Celsius. The video also features the cast talking about the struggle shooting in the snow and also gave glimpses of how they cooked, ate, etc, during the shoot. While talking to the camera, a crew member said, “Yes, we are all freezing working here, but watching the director’s speed makes us more active on sets. It automatically motivates us to strive harder.”

As he shared the video, Lokesh tweeted, “Massive respect to the cast and crew of #LEO who worked really hard no matter what, in the process of entertaining people.” He further added, “This tribute is for you all,” followed by a hashtag that read “The Crew Behind LEO.”

On the same note, it is worth mentioning here that besides Vijay, Sanjay Dutt, Gautham Menon, Trisha, Priya Anand, Mysskin, and Mathew Thomas, also shot their portion in Kashmir. Reportedly, the team is expected to take a break for 10 to 15 days, before kickstarting the next schedule of Leo. The movie is said to be part of Lokesh Cinematic Universe along with Kaithi and Vikram.
