Just a day ago, Mrunal Thakur turned a year older, and the social media of the actress was abuzz with best wishes from friends, followers, and family. However, the actress did confess that she will not be able to spend her birthday with her loved ones since she is Hyderabad shooting for her next. Mrunal had a working birthday but her team from the sets of VD13 including co-star Vijay Deverakonda decided to do something special for Thakur on the occasion.

The makers of the untitled film, which is currently being referred to as VD13, decided to celebrate the birthday of Mrunal Thakur on the sets of the film. They not only planned a cake cutting ceremony but also shared this lovely photo wherein the birthday girl is seen posing with her co-star Vijay Deverakonda and the rest of the team of the film.

Earlier, Mrunal Thakur had opened up about her birthday plans saying, “I usually keep my birthdays low key. Since we lead a very public life, it is important for me to spend certain special days with friends and family. But this time it’s going to be on the sets of VD13, with the amazing cast and crew members who I have just started working with.” She went on to add, “We are currently shooting in Hyderabad. In the last year or so, this place has become my second home, post having shot here extensively for Sita Ramam and then Hi Nanna. I will surely have a small and intimate celebration later once I am home with my family post wrapping up my first schedule of the film.”

On the other hand, the makers of her upcoming film Hi Nanna also released a new poster featuring Mrunal, as a way of wishing the actress on her special day.
