Vijay Deverakonda fans, who have adored him in his romantic avatar, are excited to see him in an action-packed intense role in the upcoming entertainer, directed by Gowtam Tinnuri. While the film is yet to be titled, it is being referred to as VD12. Vijay, who has been busy wrapping up the same, however, experienced a setback while shooting wherein he sustained some injuries while shooting an action sequence. However, sources close to the actor have insisted that the actor has insisted on completing the shoot as per schedule.

Returning to action after a long time, the actor seems excited to explore this world, and we hear he is leaving no stone unturned to make it his best. Sources close to him addressed the injuries he recently suffered on sets during an action scene, adding that he has decided to continue shooting despite it. A source close to the actor revealed, “Vijay Deverakonda suffered from a minor injury during an action scene. Despite this, the actor refuses to slow down and continues shooting for VD12. He has stepped into action after a long break and is highly focused on his preparation.” The source also mentioned how this truly speaks volumes about Vijay’s dedication to his work.

VD12 has sparked much excitement among fans, especially after the poster featuring Vijay’s intense look was unveiled. The actor, we hear, is undergoing extensive prep for the high-octane stunts that the film promises to deliver. While details of casting and crew remains under wraps, rumour has it that Bhagyashree Borse may be signed on as the leading lady.

Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda also boasts of an interesting lineup of films which also includes VD14, SVC59 & more. While the title of VD 12 will be announced soon, the film is scheduled for a worldwide release on March 28, 2025.
