South cinema actors Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Varisu unveiled a new poster on the occasion of Diwali.

Varisu is a bilingual film which pairs Thalapathy Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna for the first time together. The film is titled Vaarasudu in Telugu. The makers of the film dropped a new poster this Diwali on October 24. Billed as a wholesome entertainer, the film will release in Sankranthi 2023.

As reported by Times of India, Sankranthi is the biggest festival in Telugu-speaking states, as well as in Tamil Nadu, thus the makers are looking forward to capitalizing on the festival season, according to a press release issued by the makers on Diwali.

Directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film has an extensive cast ensemble that includes Prabhu, Jayasudha, Sarathkumar, Khushbu, Srikanth, Shaam, Sangeetha Krish, Samyuktha, Prakash Raj and Yogi Babu are in the cast.

Varisu will release in Sankranthi 2023.
