While fans cannot wait to see Thalapathy Vijay in the much-awaited Lokesh Kanagaraj film Leo, there is also immense curiosity revolving around Thalapathy68 too. The film is expected to have Vijay working with popular filmmaker Venkat Prabhu and while it is yet to be titled, it is currently being referred to as Thalapathy68. Amidst many reports doing the rounds about the film’s casting, yet another series of reports have been asserting that Vijay will spread his double role magic in this entertainer too where he will be seen as father and son.

Known for doing several double roles in films like Mersal, Theri, among others, Vijay, in the past have also wooed the audiences by playing father and son in the entertainer Bigil. While this will not be his first time portraying the elder and the younger version of himself, it is being said that the Venkat Prabhu directorial has something interesting in store for the superstar. Going by the recent reports, the Tamil superstar will be seen in a biggest showdown between a father and a son in Thalapathy68. However, the makers are currently tight lipped about the plot and other details and are waiting for the right time to announce more information about the movie.

On the other hand, social media is abuzz with rumours that Thalapathy68 will see Jyothika reuniting with Thalapathy Vijay. Furthermore, some reports also state that along with her Priyanka Mohan too has been roped in for the Venkat Prabhu. Ever since there have been these reports about the movie, fans can’t seem to control their excitement and have been setting social media abuzz, requesting the makers to unveil more deets on the film.

Thalapathy fans would be aware that Vijay has already completed the shoot of Trisha Krishnan starrer Leo and from what we hear, he will soon be diving into the work of Thalapathy68.
