After the success of his films and web series, Vijay Varma is all set to make his South debut. The actor has signed on the Sudha Kongara Prasad directorial, which is yet to be titled. The film also boasts of an ensemble cast from the South which includes superstars Suriya and Dulquer Salmaan with Nazriya Fahadh as the leading lady. Currently being referred to as Suriya 43, Vijay posted an announcement video on social media.
Taking to Instagram, Vijay Varma shared a clip which showcased a glimpse of his debut Tamil film, Suriya 43. Going by the glimpse, it seems that the film will be an action-packed venture and will mark the reunion of Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya after the series of films they did together in 2014. Vijay Varma surprised his fans by sharing this news as he wrote in the caption saying, “I am so thrilled and delighted to be working with you and this fantastic team Sudha ma'am has brought together. My first Tamil film and it can't get grander than this! Onwards #Suriya43.” “It's going to be super special. Here we go… Happy to be a part of #Suriya43 alongside such talented people. Let’s make it epic,” Vijay added, expressing his eagerness to be a part of this exciting project.

The announcement video of Suriya 43 has piqued curiosity and interest of fans and cinephiles alike. While many of his followers posted a sweet ‘Welcome’ message to the actors, a few others called it ‘epic’. Some of them also dropped fire and heart emojis showering their love on the announcement.
