Best known for her works in the Kannada and Telugu entertainment industry, actress Pavithra Jayaram passed away on May 13, Monday morning, in a car accident. She is expected to have been travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad when the incident happened in the Mahbubnagar district in Telangana. As per reports, she was also accompanied by her cousin and a driver who sustained severe injuries.
As per reports, the spot where the accident happened is located in the Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district and the Bhoothpur police officials who are currently investigating the matter also revealed that her car hit the divider after losing control, after which a bus hit the vehicle. In a Hindustan Times report, the officials confirmed the details, saying, "She died in a road accident last night at 1am at Divitipally in Mahbubnagar district. She was travelling from Bengaluru to Hyderabad." According to reports, the funeral and last rites of the late actress will be held in her native town Hanakere village in Mandya district of Karnataka.
Followed by her demise, many of her colleagues from the industry expressed grief and shock over the news and even took to social media to extend their condolence messages to her family. One among them was co-actor Sameeip Acharya who wrote, “Woke up to the news that you are no more. It's unbelievable. My first on-screen mother, you will always be the special one." Also another of her co-star from the popular show Trinayani, Aashika Gopal Padukone took to the platform to share a photo with the late actress and shared, “Gone too soon (heart-break emoji) You will be dearly missed pavi maa….”
Best known for her role as Thillotama in the show Trinayani, Pavithra Jayaram made her Telugu debut with Ninne Pelladatha in 2018. However, Pavithra started her career with the Kannada industry, as she made her acting debut in the Kannada show Jokali. Ever since, the actress has been dabbling between both languages and has featured in several television shows.
