On the occasion of Silk Smitha's 63rd birth anniversary, Australian-Indian actor, model, and dancer Chandrika Ravi took to social media to announce a biopic on the former titled Silk Smitha: The Untold Story. The film will be directed by Jayaram Sankaran, who recently helmed the eight-episode Tamil series Sweet Kaaram Coffee for Prime Video.
Sharing a striking first look poster, Chandrika, dressed in a saree, with kohl-lined eyes and a seductive finger bite, bears an uncanny resemblance to the iconic Silk Smitha.
"Happy 63rd birthday to the timeless beauty, Silk Smitha. With the blessings of her family, it is with immense gratitude that we share with the world her untold story," Chandrika wrote on Instagram.
