Actor and singer Shruti Haasan is the latest celebrity to test positive for COVID-19. The actress who was promoting her recently released web series Best Seller informed her fans that she has tested positive for COVID-19.
On Sunday morning, Shruti took to her Instagram handle to inform about the diagnosis. "Hi everyone! A quick not so fun update. Despite all safety measures I have tested positive for COVID. I am on the mend and can't wait to be back very soon! Thank you and see you soon lovelies," she wrote.

On the work front, Shruti Haasan was last seen in the recently released Amazon Prime Video web series Bestseller, a psychological thriller headlined by Shruti along with Mithun Chakraborty, Arjan Bajwa, Gauahar Khan, and Satyajeet Dubey. On the film front, Shruti will next be seen in the pan-India film Salaar opposite Prabhas. The film directed by Prashant Neel will be released later this year. Shruti plays Aadya in the film and the team unveiled her look in the film very recently to celebrate her 36th birthday.
