Shruti Haasan calls Dacoit “beautiful film”; says, “I’ve had the most amazing time working on” : Bollywood News

After a stellar 2023, Actress-singer Shruti Haasan has begun the new year with a bang. The teaser of her upcoming film Dacoit opposite Adivi Sesh has garnered tremendous appreciation among fans and critics alike. The teaser of Dacoit came out in theatres with Merry Christmas, and her latest look from the film which was released on her birthday recently, received a thunderous response from netizens. The film promises to be an intense love story and will see Shruti in an all-new avatar. The actress has been inundated with congratulatory messages and calls ever since the teaser dropped.

Barring Dacoit, Shruti also has her third international project slated to release this year titled Chennai Story, the look of which was released a couple of weeks ago. The actress is also focusing on her music and post the resounding success of her last single Monster Machine which was released late last year, her fans are eagerly awaiting her next musical project.

Commenting on her upcoming releases, Shruti says, “Dacoit is a very special film and one I’ve had the most amazing time working on. I can’t wait for it to release and share this beautiful film with the audience. I’m working on a few other projects in film and music as well and there will be other announcements in the coming months.”

The film marks Adivi Sesh's second straight Hindi film after his 2022 acclaimed Major. Calling Dacoit "a rare story", Shruti Haasan had earlier said, "The story is filled with anger passion and elegance. I’m truly excited to be a part of Dacoit."
