Filmmaker Atlee Kumar is gearing up for his next venture following the success of Jawan. While he is producing Baby John, his next directorial is apparently with Allu Arjun. The filmmaker is now also in discussions with Samantha Ruth Prabhu to join as the female lead.
In a report by Pinkvilla, it has been disclosed that Atlee and Allu Arjun are slated to commence filming by October 2024. The duo has not only finalized the subject matter but has also commenced the casting process. The script also has the potential for more female actresses.
According to insider sources, Atlee is in discussions with the talented Samantha to join the cast as the female lead. A source revealed, “Samantha and Atlee have previously worked together in Theri and the duo is now in talks for a reunion on the Allu Arjun film. Both of them shared a great bond back in the day and are excited for this reunion. It’s among the most awaited films in present times and will feature some of the biggest names of Indian Cinema.”
Allu Arjun and Samantha Ruth Prabhu were last seen Son of Satyamurthy. The actress also had a cameo in Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1 on the song ‘Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava’.
Meanwhile, Allu Arjun has Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rule which is slated for August 2024 release. On the other hand, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has Citadel: Honey Bunny with Varun Dhawan.
