On Monday, a Reddit post caused quite a stir among Samantha Ruth Prabhu's fans. The post suggested that Samantha had unarchived a heartfelt birthday message for her ex-husband, Naga Chaitanya. This occurred just as rumours of Chaitanya's impending wedding with Sobhita Dhulipala were making rounds online. However, it has been clarified that Samantha did not resurrect any old posts. The post in question dates back to December 2017 and features a candid moment from Samantha and Chaitanya's white wedding. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Naga Chaitanya first crossed paths on the sets of Gautham Menon's Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010, where they co-starred. Samantha and Chaitanya entered wedded bliss in October 2017 but announced their separation in October 2021.
As for the work front, Samantha will be soon seen in Citadel India. It will showcase her skills in high-energy action sequences, alongside Varun Dhawan, who plays the male lead. Apart from Citadel, Samantha was recently seen in film Kushi, where she was paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda. The Telugu movie released on September 1 and was also be available in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
