Over the past month, South star Samantha Ruth Prabhu has been in the news for her personal life. After having announced separation from her husband Naga Chaitanya, the actor is now focusing on her fitness and work. She recently shared a video from the gym.

Samantha took to her Instagram stories to share the video and wrote, "How do you have this power over me… scared of you even when you are not physically present@snehadesu. wouldn't pick up a 30-kilo dumbell for anyone else. Look at it - half my size.” The actress was referring to her fitness trainer.

Meanwhile, Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their separation earlier this month after much speculation around the status of their relationship. Few days after the announcement, Samantha also addressed the rumours about her and the social media attack she is being subjected to. "Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They say I had affairs, never wanted children, that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions,” she wrote.

Samantha further said, "A divorce in itself is an extremely painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me."

On the work front, Samantha will next be seen in the film Shaakuntalam.
