Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently attended an awards ceremony in Mumbai. For the ceremony, the actress stunned in a plunging emerald green and black floor-length gown. Her make-up and hair were on point and the actress looked mesmerising. However, some netizens troller her for her outfit. Samantha, however, is not the one to be let down by these judgments and gave it back to the trolls with her sharp words.

In her post on Instagram stories, Samantha said that as a woman she knows what it means to be judged and that making quick judgments based on clothing is the easiest thing. “As a woman, I bear firsthand knowledge of what it means to be judged. We judge women based on what they wear, their race, education, social standing, appearance, skin tone, and the list goes on and on. Making snap judgments about a person simply based on the clothes they wear is quite literally the easiest thing one can do,” she said.

“Now that we're in the year 2022- can we finally stop judging a woman based on the hemlines & necklines she adorns and focus instead on bettering ourselves?” she added.

“Turning that judgement inward and training it on ones own self is evolution! Projecting our ideals on someone else never did anyone any good...let's gently rewrite the way we measure and understand a person,” she concluded.
