Samantha Ruth Prabhu extends her best wishes to Nani ahead of Surya’s Saturday release : Bollywood News

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Nani delighted fans with a photo of the duo when they unexpectedly bumped into each other at the airport in Hyderabad. The encounter occurred as Nani was en route to Mumbai for promotional activities for his upcoming pan-India film, Surya’s Saturday. It was a sweet surprise for fans who rooted for the couple’s love in the much talked about Eega which later released in other languages including Hindi as Makkhi.

While the two actors continue to share a great rapport, Samantha Ruth Prabhu decided to play a cheerleader for her Eega co-star as she took to the social media platform to share her best wishes along with posting the photo. Samantha shared a sweet note for her dear friend by captioning the flight selfie of the duo as she wrote "@nameisnani the sweetest surprise today. All the very best for #SaripodhaAsanivaaram." Responding to the post was also Nani who added, “Thank you Sam <3 Wishing you best with all the new beginnings (hug emoji)”.

For the unversed, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is a Pan-India entertainer which will be releasing in Hindi as Surya’s Saturday. The film revolves around Surya, who fights against injustice on Saturday and locks horns with corrupt Inspector R. Dayanand, who brutally attacks innocent people for petty reasons. Along with SJ Surya as the ruthless antagonist Dayanand, the film stars Priyanka Mohan in the role of the female lead who plays a cop.

Also featuring an ensemble cast of Abhirami, Aditi Balan, P. Sai Kumar and Subhalekha Sudhakar, among others, the film is directed by Vivek Athreya with cinematographer Murali G. and film editor Karthika Srinivas comprising of the technical crew. Produced by DVV Movies with music by Jakes Bejoy, Surya’s Saturday is set to release on August 29, 2024.
