Salaar actress Shruti Haasan hits back at trolls post advocating sobriety : Bollywood News

Shruti Haasan, who is gearing up for one of the most-anticipated Pan-India films Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire this year, is known to express her thoughts candidly and uninhibitedly on social media. When the actress championed for sobriety, she found herself on the receiving end of malicious smear campaigns. Without taking it lying down, the actress decided to slam them back and took to the social media platform to give them a befitting reply.

Shruti Haasan posted a story on her Instagram hitting back at these trolls who posted unsavoury comments and targeted her for advocating sobriety. After being vocal about her stance on issues like mental health and sobriety, Shruti, who likes to take things in a positive light, addressed the matter and posted a note which read, “So... Trying to Shame Me with articles, talking about my sobriety isn't working. Guess what God is kind. My life is good. No amount of negative BS before every release will change that (evil eye emoji)”. She concluded the note by adding, “Ok bye (folded hand emoji) try and find your blessings too”.

Being a strong advocate of sobriety, Shruti has always urged people to refrain from judging and spreading negativity on social media and yet again the actress continued to do so. Fans of the actress may recall that she faced a similar incident which occurred in January when she had two back-to-back releases.

Speaking of her work commitments, Shruti Haasan will be seen as the leading lady in the Prashanth Neel film Salaar, which also stars Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, among others. The film is slated for release on December 22 in multiple languages including Hindi. Besides that, she also announced her latest film with Adivi Sesh which will be going on floors next year.
