One would imagine a celebrity to never repeat their outfit. What with the constant attention from paparazzi, one can only imagine how difficult it must be to repeat outfits at various gatherings. Actors are always targeted fashion police if they are seen repeating their outfits. Now Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu who has always stood out because of her choice in films and for her stand on important issues has made repeating outfit fashionable.
Recently, the Bangalore Days actress attended three different events at three different locations in the same outfit. She styled differently at all three occasions. She was seen in the traditional Kerala kasavu saree designed by actress- designer Poornima Indrajith.
Sharing all three looks of hers, the Uyare actress wrote, “Poornima has always spearheaded a consistent path of ethical fashion. I have always admired her as a person and her journey as a designer is an awe inspiring one. She has always encouraged me to strike a balance between Indian and Western sensibilities; especially when it comes to exploring Kerala Handloom. The amount of time, effort and meticulous research that she invests into each one of these designs is unparalleled. It makes absolute sense to reuse and repeat such designs which helps us stay loyal to fashion that has a conscience and purpose. Dear @poornimaindrajithofficial, thank you for being a constant source of boundless inspiration!”
Meanwhile, actress and designer Poornima Indrajith took to the Instagram handle of her brand Pranaah and wrote, “Three events. Three locations. Three styles. One outfit. Why fear to repeat when you can effortlessly flaunt the look just like our stunning muse @par_vathy does. At a time when sustainability is being discussed far and beyond, this is a conversation which deserves attention. Maybe it’s time to shift our focus towards the real essence and elements of fashion which is about exploring your own personal style that reflects your best self. Let’s re- wear and re- style. Here is to loving and owning unapologetically what we wear. Here is to sustainability, aesthetics and ethical fashion.”
Meanwhile, Parvathy was last seen in the Malayalam film Virus. She was also much appreciated for her role in the film Uyare (2019) in which she played the role of an acid attack survivor. Currently, the actress has been shooting for Venu’s directorial Rachiyamma.
