Indian actor Ram Charan hoisted the national flag on Wednesday to commemorate the 73rd Republic Day. At the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, the Chirutha actor was joined by his uncle, Telugu producer Allu Aravind.
On Republic Day, Ram Charan was seen honouring the national flag in photos shared by him on Twitter. He attended their famed Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust's Republic Day rites in casual dress. He wrote, “Happy 73rd Republic Day! #JaiHind.”

On the work front, Ram Charan's magnum opus, RRR, was postponed due to the third wave of the Covid-19 epidemic, which was meant to reach the screens in January. The film will now be released in theatres on March 18. The filmmakers said in a statement that they had also reserved the April 28 date in case the film is postponed again due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
Meanwhile, Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan will star in Koratala Siva's commercial drama Acharya. In addition, Ram Charan has been cast in Shankar Shanmugham's forthcoming film.
