Rashmika Mandanna who rose to fame with her hit films like Kirik Party, Geeta Govindam, and Dear Comrade has become a national sensation. The 25-year-old actress commands a huge fan following across the nation. Recently, a fan travelled 900 kms to meet her and the actress shared a message for the fan on Twitter.

A week ago, a fan of Rashmika, named Akash Tripathi travelled from Telangana to Kodagu in Karnataka to meet Rashmika at her home. In her tweet, the actress expressed her desire to meet the fan but also requested people to not do such acts.

Akash reached Kodagu by train and auto. After landing in the city, he asked for Rashmika's home address in the neighbourhood. When the residents in the locality grew suspicious, they informed the police who advised him and asked him to go back home.

When Rshmika got to know about the incident, she tweeted, "Guys it just came to my notice that one of you had travelled super far and have gone home to see me. Please don’t do something like that. I feel bad that I didn’t get to meet you. I really really hope to meet you one day, but for now, show me love here.. I’ll be happy! (sic)."

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika is currently busy with her Bollywood projects. She will be making her Hindi film debut with Siddharth Malhotra's Mission Majnu. Even before its release, she has started shooting for Vikas Bahl's Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan. She will also be seen in Allu Arjun's pan-Indian film Pushpa.
