Producers SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures have come together to announce the launch of their latest Telugu production, Rainbow which will feature Pushpa star Rashmika Mandanna and actor Dev Mohan in the lead. As for the film, it is expected to be a breezy romantic fantasy.
Since its inception, Dream Warrior Pictures is a production company, known for its distinctive storylines and quality production values. With movies like Kaithi, Sulthan, and the recent Bholaa, the company has been winning hearts with its content. A source close to the production house confirmed the details adding, “With Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role, Rainbow promises to be a unique cinematic experience for audiences of all ages. Dev Mohan too plays a vital role in the movie.” Further details on the casting is yet to be revealed.
Debutant Shantharuban will be directing the film. K.M. Bhaskaran will be wielding the camera whereas Justin Prabhakaran will score the music. National award-winning production designer Banglan is in charge of the production design.

Rashmika too opened up about the venture continuing, “For the first time I am playing as the protagonist where the story is shot from a girl’s perspective. I am so excited to bring this character alive for all of you. Rainbow is definitely such a movie that will both entertain and excite you. The journey of the audience with the girl is going to be a crazy ride. So, buckle up all - this is going to be a fun ride.”
Rainbow has commenced production with a formal pooja on Monday, April 3 and the shooting will kick off from April 7.
