From Srivalli to Geetanjali, Rashmika Mandanna has crossed boundaries and language barriers in terms of fame and success. After garnering immense love as the leading lady in Pushpa: The Rise, the actress’ fame went on to next level with the immense moolah her Hindi film Animal brought in, at the box office. With her being one of the most-sought-after actresses in the Indian film industry considering her recent successes, the actress maintained that she doesn’t want to take all of this seriously and believes that all she has in response for all the love she has received is gratitude.

In a recent interview with Lifestyle Asia, Rashmika Mandanna maintained that she is one of the lucky ones to have received the opportunity to make such a big impact as an actress. She said, “I know that there are a lot of girls out there who are prettier and way more skilled and talented than I am, but I have been given this opportunity to be at the place that I am in today and I’m truly grateful. No joy in life or the success you achieve in your career should be taken lightly - I have learned this over the last few years.”

She also went on to assert that people, in general, need to be a little thick-skinned. Because along with success and fame, also comes a lot of criticism. For the unversed, Rashmika also received a lot of backlash for her role as Gitanjali who falls in love with the violent and abusive Ranvijay in Animal. “If you speak, the world listens and passes judgments and criticisms and has many opinions – which is perfectly normal – but if you’re not thick-skinned, it can affect you mentally and emotionally, in ways that people are not very aware of,” she added.

Meanwhile, speaking of her future endeavors, Rashmika Mandanna has an interesting lineup of films which includes The Girlfriend, Pushpa:The Rule, Chhava, Dhanush’s next co-starring Nagarjuna which is reportedly titled Kubera, among other commitments.
