Actor Ram Charan had gone into total isolation post the demise of his longstanding vanity driver due to COVID-19. In a rare scenario, Charan took to his social media after a long hiatus but it was only for a noteworthy cause that has grabbed eyeballs across the nation. He applauded the herculean efforts of Hyderabad-based renewable energy player, Greenko as they airlifted the first consignment of 1000 large medical grade oxygen concentrators and cylinders to India.
The first of specially chartered flights from China carrying 200 concentrators was received by the Telangana Industries Minister KT Rama Rao along with chief secretary Somesh Kumar and Greenko founder Anil Chalamalasetty and Mahesh Koli. Ram Charan tweeted that, "Kudos to #Greenko Group - a dear friend’s renewable energy firm for donating over 1000 O2 concentrators & cylinders to Govt. Hospitals across multiple states in India during these challenging times."

On the work front, Ram Charan starrer Acharya has been postponed amid COVID-19. Acharya also stars Chiranjeevi, Pooja Hegde, and Sonu Sood. Directed by Kortala Siva, the film will have father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan share screen space for the first time.
