Tamil cinema legend Rajinikanth has once again shown his generosity and support for fresh storytelling in Indian cinema. The superstar recently watched the trailer of Mirai starring Teja Sajja in the lead, which was unveiled a few days ago, and his appreciation has left the makers overjoyed.
Manchu Manoj, who plays the lead antagonist in the fantasy action-drama, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to share his gratitude. Posting a picture of Rajinikanth from the trailer screening, Manoj penned a heartfelt note in Tamil, which translated to, “Heartfelt thanks to Superstar @rajinikanth for watching the #Mirai trailer and praising us.”
In the same post, Manoj also took a moment to congratulate fellow actor Siva Karthikeyan on the success of his film Madharasi, writing, “I congratulate my dear brother @Siva_Kartikeyan on the grand success of #Madrasi.” He further extended his gratitude to Tamil audiences and the media, saying, “Deepest thanks to the people of Tamil Nadu who continue to support, and to the media friends. #Mirai #BlackSword @agscinemas @archanakalpathi @aishkalpathi @onlynikil.”

Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai is being positioned as a grand-scale fantasy action-adventure. Produced by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under People Media Factory, the film stars Teja Sajja in the lead role, alongside Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, and Manchu Manoj as the central villain.
