We all are aware that Shah Rukh Khan is a massive fan of Rajinikanth, so much so, that he dedicated a song in his honor to the film Chennai Express (2013). And the love is mutual. The megastar too has expressed his love for the Bollywood superstar Khan on several occasions. Now on the birthday of the South megastar, as he turns 72, SRK decided to dedicate a special post to the Thalaivar on his social media and also shared an unseen photo with him. Besides this superstar, Akshay Kumar too took to the platform to share his birthday wishes for his 2.0 co-star.

Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram to share an unseen photograph with Rajinikanth where the two superstars are seen holding hands. Along with that, he also shared a birthday note saying, “To the coolest, swaggiest, humblest star of stars forever and ever….love you @rajinikanth sir. Wishing you the healthiest & happiest Birthday.” Going by the photo, it seems that this rare picture was taken during the grand wedding ceremony of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan which was held in Tamil Nadu and which was attended by both the superstars.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar too had a sweet note for his co-star. Readers may recall that the two of them acted together in the S Shankar sci-fi drama 2.0 which featured Akshay in the role of a crow and Rajinikanth returned as the robot Chitti. It seems that the actor shared a photo from the promotions of the film and also posted a birthday message along with it saying, “Onscreen the most stylish and offscreen the most humble person I know, with qualities I always admire and aspire for. May you keep inspiring generations to come. Wishing you a very happy birthday @rajinikanth sir.”

Meanwhile, talking about work, Rajinikanth will next be seen in Jailer that is directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and it also stars popular Kannada star Shiva Rajkumar in a pivotal role.
