The teaser of The Raja Saab, the much-anticipated horror comedy headlined by Prabhas, has reportedly been leaked online ahead of its official launch, prompting swift action and a stern warning from the makers. While fans were eagerly awaiting a first glimpse of the film this week, a short clip allegedly surfaced prematurely on social media platforms, leading to a breach of release protocol.
Amid reports of the leak, the production team issued a strong message on X (formerly Twitter), stating, “Strict action will be taken and handles will be suspended immediately if any leaked content from #TheRajaSaab is found…. We request everyone to cooperate and stand with us in protecting the experience…. Let’s celebrate responsibly. Be aware.”

The unfortunate leak comes just as director Maruthi was building up emotional anticipation for the teaser’s release. In a moving post that resonated with many, he revisited his humble beginnings in Machilipatnam, sharing a photo outside the very theatre where he once painted banners and dreamed of making it big.
Maruthi wrote, “MACHILIPATNAM - Siri complex (krishna Kishore in past) This is the place where my father once had a small banana stall… Where I used to write for banners of all heroes films released in this theater dreaming with hope :) I was one of those who wished ‘okkasaraina mana peru choodali ikkada.’ Now standing here and looking back at where it all began… Life has come full circle and now a cutout beside my pan India star … Isn’t that enough? My father would’ve been so proud today. Missing you Nanna… I now present our Darling in the element I dreamt of. Need all ur blessings.”

The Raja Saab marks a genre shift for Prabhas, placing him in a horror comedy space after a string of big-scale action films. The teaser, despite the leak, continues to generate major buzz online, with fans lauding Maruthi’s heartfelt tribute and the nostalgic context he’s brought to the film’s journey.
Speaking of the film, it is also expected to feature Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Sanjay Dutt, among others in key roles. It is slated to release on December 5 this year.
