The makers of The Raja Saab have officially put an end to the swirling rumours about a possible delay in the release of the much-awaited Prabhas starrer. In a strong statement, the team confirmed that the romantic horror comedy will arrive in cinemas worldwide on January 9, 2026, coinciding with the festive Sankranthi weekend.
Amid widespread online chatter suggesting that the film might miss its Sankranthi window, the production team stepped forward to clarify the truth. “In response to the ongoing speculation surrounding the release plans of Rebel Star Prabhas' upcoming magnum opus The Raja Saab, the team wishes to clarify that all such rumours regarding a postponement from Sankranthi 2026 are entirely baseless,” the statement read.
Reiterating their commitment to the announced date, the team added, “The Raja Saab will hit theatres worldwide on January 9th, 2026 as officially announced. The post-production work is progressing at a brisk pace maintaining the highest technical standards without any delay.”
