R Madhavan, Nayanthara, and Siddharth to come together for Test; share FIRST LOOK motion poster : Bollywood News

The Rang De Basanti duo of R Madhavan and Siddharth have reunited for an interesting project and adding to the casting coup, joining them will be Nayanthara. The actress will be paired together with them for the first time in Test. The film, directed by S. Sashikanth is expected to be a sports drama and the makers unveiled its first look along with the announcement of the film going on floors.

The team of Test took to social media to share the first look motion poster. Siddharth, who is excited to collaborate with the duo, took to the platform to share the video along with the caption that read, “Here we go! Motion poster ALERT! #TEST begins shoot today. @studiosynot boss.. S. Sashikanth makes his direction debut. Excited to be working with Maddy and Nayan. This one is very special. Wish us luck. <3” R Madhavan went to add, “TEST .. BEGINS @sash041075 #nayanthara @worldofsiddharth @studiosynot .. Need all you good wishes and blessings”

On the other hand, one of the producers of the film, Chakravarthy Ramchandra also posted a photo of the clapperboard from the mahurat pooja ceremony. Test is expected to be a pan India film and is said to be releasing in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada.

Talking about their Tamil projects, Nayanthara last featured in the Tamil supernatural drama Connect in 2022 in which she played the role of a teenage daughter’s mother who can fight the world to protect her daughter. Siddharth, on the other hand, last appeared in a Tamil film in 2019 titled Aruvam. R Madhavan was last seen in the Tamil film Maara in 2021 but the actor’s popular film Rocketry: The Nambi Effect was also shot in the language along with other languages.

Interestingly, Test marks the third collaboration of R Madhavan and Siddharth after Rang De Basanti and Aaytha Ezhuthu (the Tamil version of Yuva).
