Today, on June 4, the director turned a year older. Amid numerous birthday wishes on the internet, he has received a special birthday wish from Prabhas, who has collaborated with him for his next directorial venture Salaar.

It’s been an absolute privilege to be working with you..and I cannot wait for what is ahead.”

Meanwhile, as pictures circulated on the internet, Prashanth Neel celebrated his birthday on the sets of Salaar, accompanied by Prabhas and the rest of the film's team. The images captured Prashanth beaming with joy as he blew out the candles on his birthday cake. Prabhas, on the other hand, sported an all-black ensemble and enthusiastically posed with the cast and crew for memorable snapshots.

Coming back to Salaar, it will mark the first collaboration with Prabhas and Prashanth Neel. The film is slated to release on September 28. It will also feature Shruti Haasan.
