Prabhu Deva blessed with a baby girl with his second wife : Bollywood News

Prabhu Deva has always remained secretive about his private life and his fans were quite surprised when the choreographer-filmmaker tied the knot for the second time in 2020. For the unversed, Prabhu Deva married a physiotherapist named Dr. Himani in an intimate ceremony amid COVID-19 lockdown and recently news is that the actor-filmmaker has become a father. The filmmaker welcomed his first baby with his second wife, and it is expected to be a baby girl.

While the private star has not opened up about becoming a father on any social media platform, he recently confirmed the news in a report in Times of India. The actor was quoted expressing his happiness of becoming a father at 50 as he said, “Yes! It is true. I am a father again at this age. I feel very happy and complete.” Reports also had it that he cut down on work to spend more quality time with his family and with his newborn daughter.

While Prabhu Deva has hardly made any appearance with his wife Himani, the latter came on video and dedicated a message to her husband. She had also opened up about how her three years of marriage with him has been blissful. News about his second marriage was announced by Prabhu Deva’s brother.

Prabhu Deva was earlier married to Latha in 1995 and the couple separated in 2011. He had three children with her, one of whom died of cancer in 2008. If reports are to be believed, the custody of his other two kids lies with the mother. On the other hand, Prabhu Deva also tackled a major rumour about his personal life which was about his affair with female superstar Nayanthara.

On the work front, Prabhu Deva is known for directing popular Bollywood blockbusters like Wanted and Rowdy Rathore. The filmmaker has also been a part of dance movies directed by Remo D’Souza.
