Prabhas, who recently visited Japan for a special screening event, has shared a deeply heartfelt letter written by filmmaker S.S. Rajamouli. The message was penned ahead of the Japanese release of Baahubali: The Epic, which hits theatres in the country on December 12. The superstar posted Rajamouli’s note on social media, giving fans a glimpse of the strong bond between the director, the actor and their devoted Japanese audience.

Rajamouli’s letter, filled with affection and nostalgia, highlights Japan’s longstanding admiration for the Baahubali franchise and its leading man. “Knowing you darling, if you've already tasted the love of the Japanese audience, you must be in tears right now. I've visited Japan four times and every trip came with the same question again and again, when will Prabhas come here? The more they expressed their wish, the more I wanted you to experience the love they have for you and for them to see how much you care for them too. Finally, my Baahubali has arrived in my second home. I hope you enjoy Japan as much as I have enjoyed every visit. To all my Japanese friends, love you all. Arigato gozaimasu.” Calling Japan his “second home,” Rajamouli conveyed how deeply the country’s warmth has impacted him and expressed joy that Prabhas is now experiencing the same.
Prabhas responded with an equally affectionate caption, writing, “Daaaarlingggggg @ssrajamouli... love you so much. Missing you here in Japan... we'll both come again.” The actor’s Japan tour has been met with overwhelming fan enthusiasm, with many celebrating his long-awaited arrival. Prabhas also shared that visiting the country had been a cherished dream, making the moment even more meaningful for him and his global fanbase.
