Hombale Films’ highly anticipated Kantara: Chapter 1 continues to generate excitement following the success of Kantara (2022). After Hrithik Roshan launched the Hindi trailer earlier today, attention now turns to the regional releases, with Prabhas, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Sivakarthikeyan set to present the Telugu, Malayalam and Tamil trailers, respectively.
Prabhas will unveil the Telugu trailer, Prithviraj Sukumaran the Malayalam trailer, and Sivakarthikeyan the Tamil trailer, marking a grand Pan-India rollout. The participation of these leading stars highlights the scale and reach of the trailer launch, creating excitement among audiences across the country.
Kantara: Chapter 1 promises an ambitious cinematic experience. Directed by Hombale Films, the project features music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath, cinematography by Arvind Kashyap, and production design by Vinesh Banglan. One of the film’s highlights is a massive war sequence shot over 45–50 days on rugged terrain, involving over 500 trained fighters and 3,000 people, making it one of the largest sequences in Indian cinema history.
The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on October 2 in Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Bengali, and English, combining a Pan-Indian reach with culturally rich storytelling.
With Kantara: Chapter 1, Hombale Films continues to expand the legacy of the original, offering audiences an immersive experience of folklore, faith, and cinematic spectacle.
