Pooja Hegde reveals what it’s like shooting Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam in Italy amid the pandemic : Bollywood News

Back in March, Prabhas and Pooja Hegde had to cut short their Georgia schedule of Radhe Shyam and returned to India amid the pandemic. Since then the lockdown commenced as the country shut down film and TV productions. Now, only since July, productions have slowly resumed under new government guidelines. The new normal on the sets involve sanitization, wearing marks, social distancing, and working with smaller crews.

Pooja Hegde reveals what it’s like shooting Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam in Italy amid the pandemic

Pooja Hegde, who rang in her birthday earlier this week in Italy, revealed that she resumed Radhe Shyam shooting and filmed an emotional scene on her birthday. The cast and crew are currently in Italy and a smaller crew is involved in the shooting process. She revealed that everyone was tested before and they are shooting responsibly with fewer crew members. The new normal involves wearing a mask, no masks when she is in front of the camera, and no hugging policy in the current condition. Pooja said that the first two days were rocky but they eventually moved on.

She said that her character, named Prerana, is not mythological Radha but inspired by the iconic lovers. Speaking to a daily, when asked whether she has a double role in the film, she insisted that it is not a double role but something she has not done before. The actress celebrated her birthday amidst the shoot. She had a small celebration with the team.

Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, the film is a multi-lingual romantic period-drama that is expected to release in 2021.

On the work front, Pooja Hegde will be seen in Farhan Samji's directorial Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali along with Salman Khan.
