The first look of Operation Tral has been unveiled, offering an early glimpse into the upcoming Malayalam film led by Jayasurya. Inspired by real events, the film is set against the backdrop of a convoy ambush in Kashmir and explores themes related to national security and intelligence operations.
Written and directed by Ratheesh Vega, the project is produced by Joby George Thadathil under Goodwill Entertainments. The film looks at the workings of intelligence agencies and the challenges faced in high-risk situations, while also focusing on the personal and professional stakes involved.
Speaking about the film, Jayasurya said, “Operation Tral stands out as one of the most exciting and challenging projects in my career. It brings together high-octane action with a powerful narrative rooted in national security. Every sequence is designed to feel real and I’m excited for audiences to experience its massive scale. The film brings together a technical team that includes cinematographer Najose, editor Shafeeque V B, and sound mixing by M. R. Rajakrishnan. Ratheesh Vega has also composed the music and background score, contributing to the overall tone of the film.
