Mrunal Thakur to celebrate birthday on the sets of her film with Vijay Deverakonda : Bollywood News

On August 1, popular actress Mrunal Thakur rang in her birthday and her social media is filled with messages and best wishes for the Sita Ramam actress. But did you know that the actress is having a working birthday this year? We hear that the actress couldn’t make it to her home to celebrate with friends and family and hence, she will be spending her birthday in Hyderabad with the cast and crew of her upcoming film movie VD13, co-starring Vijay Deverakonda.

For the unversed, Mrunal Thakur had taken off to Hyderabad earlier this week to kick start the shoot of the untitled venture, which is currently being referred to VD13. While she has been busy with her work commitments, Mrunal has been unable to fly back home and instead, she chose to ring in her birthday in the Andhra Pradesh capital itself. Speaking about her birthday plans, Mrunal said, “I usually keep my birthdays low key. Since we lead a very public life, it is important for me to spend certain special days with friends and family. But this time it’s going to be on the sets of VD13, with the amazing cast and crew members who I have just started working with.”

She continued, “We are currently shooting in Hyderabad. In the last year or so, this place has become my second home, post having shot here extensively for Sita Ramam and then Hi Nanna. I will surely have a small and intimate celebration later once I am home with my family post wrapping up my first schedule of the film.” In VD13, Mrunal is paired opposite Vijay Deverakonda for the first time. The project marks the reunion of Vijay and director Parasuram after Geetha Govindam.

Along with, she is also shooting for the Nani starrer Hi Nanna which is an emotional drama movie directed by Shouryuv, and revolves around a father-daughter relationship. The actress also has the period drama Pippa, starring Ishaan Khatter, Priyanshu Painyuli and Soni Razdan, in the pipeline for release.
