Megastar Chiranjeevi joins hands with filmmaker Vassishta for Mega157 : Bollywood News

Fans who are enthusiastic to see Chiranjeevi in another fantasy entertainer like Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari which is one of the evergreen classics in the Telugu film industry will be more than pleased with his recent announcement. It has been a while since megastar Chiranjeevi signed a fantasy movie, and this venture will mark his collaboration with filmmaker Vassishta who made his debut with the popular film Bimbisara, starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. While this fantasy adventure drama is yet to be titled, it is currently being referred to as Mega157.

Coming to the film, Mega157 mounted on a massive scale on Chiranjeevi’s birthday, by V Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy under the popular banner of UV Creations. In fact, we hear that the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make one of the most expensive films in the superstar’s career. A source close to the film revealed that Vassishta has planned to create a different mega mass universe with this film. The source also added, “Even in ethe poster was created to present a unique set of visual aesthetics wherein the pancha bhutas (five elements of nature) such as Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Sky is encompassed in an object that has a star-shaped element with a trident in it. It’s perceptible through this amazing poster that we are going to witness something we couldn’t even imagine.”

The source asserted that this will be a larger-than-life project as they continued, “Film is a powerful tool for escaping everyday reality, and no genre can transport you to a different place better than fantasy. It is now going to be even more fun and engaging, if these larger-than-life movies feature a star like Chiranjeevi. Moreover, Vassishta has already proved his mettle in this genre with his very first directorial and the leading production house UV Creations backing it, #Mega157 will be nothing short of a magnum opus.”

The details of the rest of the cast are yet to be finalized.
