Starring Varun Tej in the lead, Nora Fatehi continues to promote the ‘Pan-India’ entertainer Matka, that is set between the 70s and 90s, even after its release. Playing the role of Sophia is the actress and recently while she teased audiences by dropping pics of her in a traditional look in a yellow saree from the film on Thursday, on Saturday, she took it a step ahead and shared glimpses of the scenes from the film.

Apart from Nora Fatehi, the film also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary as Vasu aka Varun Tej’s love interest. Nora took to her official Instagram page to drop Behind-The-Scenes pictures aka BTS pics from a crucial scene where Sophia lets go off her love for Vasu as he moves on in his life with Sujatha played by Meenakshi. The emotional scene is captured in pics as it attempts to encapsulate the multiple emotions Sophia undergoes in such situation. “Sophia just watched the love of her life marry another woman… what do u think she did after?” she teased her fans as they continued to shower love on these photos.

For the unversed, Matka is inspired by the life story of Matka gamble Ratan Khetri, and it takes place between 1958 and 1982 in Visakhapatnam, as it is based on some real-life incidents. It follows 24 years in the life of Vasu, a prominent Matka gambler and gangster. The film, written and directed by Karuna Kumar, also boasts of an ensemble cast that includes the likes of Saloni Aswani, Satyam Rajesh, P. Ravi Shankar, Kishore, Naveen Chandra, Ajay Gosh, among others. The movie released on November 14 in multiple languages including Hindi.
