Mammootty drops FIRST LOOK of his next titled Kalamkaval : Bollywood News

On Saturday, Malayalam superstar Mammootty dropped an intriguing update much to the excitement of fans, who are always thrilled to know more about his upcoming projects. The actor, who has been juggling multiple projects, shared an update about his production, which was being referred to as merely Production No. 7, by unveiling the title as Kalamkaval along with a first look poster on social media on February 15.

Promising to feature the actor in yet another intriguing avatar of an anti-hero, the film will be directed by Jithin K Jose. Mammootty Kompany took to their official social media page to share the details along with the intense poster and captioned it saying, “Unveiling Mammootty Kampany's Production No. 7 titled as #Kalamkaval, Directed by Jithin K Jose. Wait for another "NEVER SEEN BEFORE " Mammootty to be unleashed Soon.” Fans too shared their happiness over the announcement by posting heart and fire emojis in the comment section.

Speaking further about the cast and crew of the film, Kalamkaval will also feature Vinayakan in a key role along with Faisal Ali as the cinematographer and Praveen Prabhakar as the film editor. While the music is composed by Mujeeb Majeed, the screenplay is written by Jithu with Jishnu Sreekumar. The film is also expected to feature some power packed action which will be handled by stunt man Sandhosh, fondly known as Action Sandhosh. The rest of the details including that of the cast and the release date are currently being maintained under wraps.

As for his other projects, the actor is currently gearing up for the comedy thriller titled Dominic And The Ladies Purse, directed by Gautam Vasudev Menon. The actor has also kicked off the shoot of MMMN which sees him reunite with Mohanlal after years and it also stars Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, among others. The film is directed by Mahesh Narayanan.
